About the Class

We've taken our popular block printing class and shrunk it! Learn how to make your own block printed fabric and leave with a completed item! You will learn the tips and techniques needed to design your own block using rubber blocks and linoleum cutters. In this one day class, we will focus on pattern design elements and how to create repeat patterns as well as printing on pre-finished fabric with your hand-made rubber blocks and a selection of colour paints specifically designed for printing. You choose what pattern network you would like to create on your very own set of organic cotton bandannas or tea towels. Match your bandanna to your favourite outfit or custom print your dream kitchen napkins or tea towels!

Class fee includes:

  • 4 hours of class time.
  • A kit containing a set of either two organic cotton bandannas or two organic cotton napkins or two organic tea towels and carving rubber.
  • Snacks and refreshments throughout the class.
  • The use of our class tools, paints, and other necessary notions - there is no need for you to bring anything!
  • A 15% discount coupon to use for a future purchase.

This class is designed for everyone! No experience is necessary.
