See full measurements and fabric requirement charts here.
Fabric Requirements can be found in the product images.
The chart shows the exact fabric requirements needed for Fabric 1, Fabric 2, and Quilt Batting EACH. For example, if the chart says 7/8 yards, you will need 7/8 yards of Fabric 1, 7/8 yards of Fabric 2, and 7/8 yards of quilt batting.
You may also use pre-quilted fabric for this pattern. These measurements are the minimum amounts needed and do not account for fabric shrinkage because all fabrics shrink at different rates. Please take this into account when choosing fabric.
*this denotes that this width of fabric is insufficient to cut the whole tree skirt in the specified size. You can either choose a different fabric with a wider width, or patchwork fabric together to achieve your desired size.
For this pattern, you can use anything from quilting cotton, to flannel, to pre-quilted fabric, and more. Favorites are generally woven cottons, between 2-5 oz per square yard. Avoid making your Bias Binding from a fabrics on the heavier side of that range, as it can make the construction quite difficult. Knit fabrics with a lot of stretch are not recommended.
