Can I order swatches?
Absolutely! We are happy to send you swatches, free of charge, at any time. If you would like to order swatches prior to making a purchase, you can send us an email at email@example.com with your shipping address and a list of the fabrics and colours that you would like to sample. If you would like to add swatches to an order, please leave a note in the ‘order comments’ field at checkout. Due to a high volume of orders and requests, we kindly ask that you limit your list to a maximum of 5 swatches.
Do you have a physical storefront?
No. We are an online only store that operates out of a warehouse in East Vancouver, Canada. If you would like to see any of our fabrics in person before making a purchase, please feel free to take advantage of our free swatch service!
I live in Vancouver. Can I pickup my order to avoid shipping costs?
Yes! Please check out our local pickups page for more info.
Do you work with designers?
We are a small fabric store that caters to home sewers. We do not offer wholesale pricing and our inventory is in constant rotation which does not tend to mesh well with the needs of designers. If you are a designer and would still like to purchase from our shop, please note that we have an order limit of 20 meters per fabric. If an order exceeds this limit, we may issue a refund for your order.
Can I add to my order?
If you have recently placed an order, and it is still marked as 'awaiting fulfillment', you can add more items by creating a new order and leaving a note at checkout to combine with your previous order. We will issue a refund for any excess postage fees once your order is ready to go.
Can I modify or cancel my outstanding order?
Yes, you can cancel your order so long as your fabric has not been cut. Modifications are managed on a case by case basis. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to make a modification or cancellation request.
What is your return policy?
All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges. If we have made a mistake with your order, or if you have received flawed fabric, please contact us at email@example.com. Visit our returns page for more details.
I'm not sure which fabric to choose for my project. Help!
We do our best to include a description of the weight, drape and hand feel of all of our fabrics to help you make the best choice for your project. If you are unsure of which fabric to choose, or whether a particular fabric will work for a chosen pattern, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We're always happy to lend a hand!

The fabric that I wanted is sold out. Will you be restocking it?
While we try to offer a rotating selection of fabrics, we do restock a lot of our basics, like tencel twills and bamboo jerseys, as well as fast-selling seasonal favourites. If you would like to know if/when a particular fabric is being restocked, send us an email at email@example.com.
The care instructions don’t jive with my normal washing regimen. Do I have to follow them to a tee?
Our care instructions come directly from the manufacturer and should not be completely ignored (i.e. don’t place wool in a hot dryer). That being said, there is sometimes wiggle room when it comes to washing and drying fabrics. If you plan to stray from the care instructions, we highly recommend washing and drying a test swatch first to avoid any tragedies. The same goes for ironing. Testing first is always a good way to go!
