Made from 100% cotton, our Checks canvas is midweight with a crisp hand and classic canvas weave. Easy to sew and ultra-versatile, this stable woven is perfect for lightweight jackets, pants, overalls, and fun accessories like bags & hats!
This playful check design was printed exclusively for Blackbird Fabrics in Sanganer, Jaipur, India using traditional block printing techniques and azo-free dyes that prevent harmful runoff in the production process. We love how the natural variation in these designs showcases the hand-crafted nature of block printing. They will fade beautifully into a soft vintage look with wash and wear.

Please note that due to the dyeing process, these fabrics may have a distinct odour that will dissipate after wash & wear. We recommend adding a cup of white vinegar when pre-washing your fabric to help neutralize the smell.
