Remnant - 1.2m - 12oz Upcycled Raw Denim - Classic Indigo
This listing is for a remnant piece of fabric measuring 1.2 meters (1.3 yards) in length.
This sturdy and heavyweight denim comes to us from The New Denim Project, a third-generation textile mill in Guatemala that focuses on natural fibres and circular manufacturing. This hardwearing denim is made entirely from 70% recycled garment industry waste and 30% virgin cotton. These fibers are spun and rewoven into a durable, upcycled, and biodegradable textile that is chemical free, minimizing water and energy consumption. Featuring an ultra-saturated indigo wash, this raw denim will fade & soften with wear and form a lovely patina over time. Ideal for chore coats, overalls, jumpsuits, and all sorts of workwear-inspired garments.
Due to the nature of the upcycling process, there may be irregularities throughout the yardage. These are not defects and we encourage you to embrace these slubs and nubbly textures as they are a natural result of recycling (and reducing!) cotton waste.
